  • Suitable for CSS AB8 – Flower-rich margins and plots.
  • Suitable for SFI IPM2 – Flower-rich grass margins, blocks or in-field strips, where the mixture meets the applicable agreement requirements.
  • Suitable for SFI26 CIPM2 – Flower-rich grass margins, blocks or in-field strips, subject to the current scheme requirements.
  • Sow directly into a firm, fine and well-prepared seedbed.
  • Sow in spring or early autumn according to the supplied product specification.
  • Seed should be sown shallowly, as wildflower seed can struggle to establish when buried too deeply.
  • Ensure good seed-to-soil contact following sowing.
  • Avoid establishing into heavily weed-infested ground where possible.
  • The mixture is ryegrass-free.
  • During establishment, monitor germination and development regularly.
  • Early management may be required to prevent vigorous weeds from shading emerging sown species.
  • Once established, manage the margin or strip in accordance with the requirements of the relevant environmental land management action.
  • For SFI26 CIPM2, current GOV.UK guidance states that established flower-rich grass margins, blocks or in-field strips must not be mechanically fertilised or treated with pesticides, other than specified herbicide uses for weed control.
  • Always check the current requirements of your particular CSS, SFI or SFI26 agreement before establishment and management.
