The Winter Bird Feed Wildflower Mix is specifically designed to provide autumn-to-spring seed resources for farmland birds, while also supporting pollinators during the flowering season. By combining a variety of seed-bearing wildflowers, this mix attracts goldfinches, buntings, and other seed-eating species, helping farmers and landowners meet Countryside Stewardship AB9 and SFI AHL2 requirements for winter bird food provision.
In addition to wildlife support, this mix enhances field margins and headlands with seasonal color and structure. It is ideal for low-maintenance blocks, buffer strips, or under-utilised areas. Leaving plants standing through winter ensures a continuous food source, while careful management after flowering promotes regeneration and long-term productivity.
