The Two Year Legume Fallow Seed Mix is a two-year legume-rich seed mixture designed to establish a flowering legume fallow, providing green cover through the winter months and flowering during spring and summer. The mixture contains Common Vetch, Red Clover, Sweet Yellow Blossom Clover, Lucerne, Alsike Clover and Yellow Trefoil, providing a diverse combination of flowering legume species.
The mixture is specified for AB15, NUM3 and CNUM3 applications and contains a high proportion of legumes. The supplied specification requires a mix containing at least six flowering species, including legumes; this mixture contains six species, all of which are legume species.
Sow at 10kg/acre after harvest, using either broadcasting or shallow drilling followed by rolling. The stated flowering period is May to September, with an approximate height of 20–120cm.
