The Two Year Legume Fallow – Economy is a legume-based seed mixture designed to establish a two-year legume fallow, providing green cover through the winter months and flowering during spring and summer. The mixture contains Vetch, Crimson Clover, Berseem Clover, Sainfoin, Alsike Clover and Sweet Yellow Blossom Clover, providing six flowering legume species within the mix.
The mixture is specified for AB15, NUM3 and CNUM3 applications. The supplied specification requires a mix containing at least six flowering species, including legumes, and this formulation contains six species. Sow at 10kg/acre after harvest, using either broadcasting or shallow drilling followed by rolling. The stated flowering period is May to September, with an approximate height of 20–120cm.
