Summer Flowering Wildflowers Plug Plants Mix

Summer-flowering wildflower plug plants providing nectar and pollen for pollinators. Ideal for meadows, parks, roadside verges, and wildlife-friendly gardens.

The Summer Flowering Wildflowers Plug Plants Mix is a vibrant, pollinator-friendly selection of UK native wildflowers that deliver abundant summer blooms. This plug plant mix is perfect for parks, meadows, roadside verges, gardens, and restoration projects, providing nectar and pollen during the peak pollination season from June to August.

Raised in 40cc plug cells, these plants establish quickly and develop strong roots for long-lasting visual impact. Ideal for ecologists, councils, landscape contractors, landowners, and designers, this mix supports biodiversity while transforming green spaces into stunning summer floral displays.

  • Site Preparation: Remove weeds and debris; rake soil to a fine tilth for optimum plug establishment.
  • Planting Time: Best planted in spring for summer flowering; early planting ensures full seasonal impact.
  • Planting Density: Plant plugs 20–30cm apart depending on coverage and design.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly at planting; maintain soil moisture until plants are established.
  • Maintenance: Cut back after flowering to encourage reseeding and maintain diversity. Avoid over-mowing to support pollinators.
