Pollinators Mix 100% Wildflowers (JC3228) is a high-diversity wildflower mixture specifically designed to attract and support pollinators such as bees, butterflies, hoverflies, and other beneficial insects. Comprising robust perennials with selected biennials and annuals, this mix ensures long-lasting floral resources and ecological function throughout the growing season.

Ideal for parks, field margins, BNG delivery, conservation projects, estates, schools, and pollinator-focused landscapes, this mix establishes a visually striking meadow while providing essential nectar and pollen sources for a wide range of pollinating species.

  • Seedbed Preparation: Prepare a fine, firm seedbed, removing competing vegetation.
  • Sowing Time: Best sown in spring or autumn when soil moisture is adequate.
  • Sowing Rate: Broadcast evenly and lightly roll to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.
  • Establishment: Expect flowering in year one from early-flowering annuals; perennials will establish fully over 2–3 seasons.
  • Management: Cut once or twice annually, depending on objectives. Remove arisings to maintain low soil fertility.
  • Long-Term Care: Avoid fertilisers to maintain wildflower diversity and support pollinator habitats.

Soil type Medium-textured soils, including loam and sandy loam, are ideal. Adaptable to most low- to moderately fertile soils.
