Herbal Ley Overseeding – Legume & Herb, No Grasses – GS4 / SAM3 / CSAM3

Grass-free herbal ley overseeding mix for GS4, SAM3 and CSAM3, containing nine legumes and four herbs for diverse forage establishment.

The Herbal Ley Overseeding – Legume & Herb, No Grasses is a grass-free legume and herb seed mixture designed for use as an overseeding mixture where a diverse combination of legumes and herbs is required. The formulation contains nine legume species alongside four herb species, including Red Clover, White Clover, Berseem Clover, Sainfoin, Lucerne, Crimson Clover and Vetch.

The mixture is designed to support the establishment of a productive forage area with reduced reliance on inorganic fertiliser. Its supplied specification identifies aims including improved drought resilience, support for soil structure and soil biology, increased carbon storage and long-term soil fertility.

Sow at 5kg/acre in late summer or early autumn, establishing the mixture in accordance with the requirements of the applicable action. The 20kg pack covers approximately 4 acres at the recommended sowing rate. The stated flowering period is April to October, with plants reaching approximately 10–150cm, depending on species and growing conditions.
