Flowering Lawn Short Wildflower Plug Plants Mix

Low-growing wildflower plugs for lawns, pathways, and amenity areas. Supports pollinators while providing vibrant, mowable summer colour.

The Flowering Lawn / Short Wildflower Plug Plants Mix is specially designed for low-growing, mowable areas, combining UK native wildflowers that stay below 30cm. Perfect for lawns, pathways, open green spaces, and amenity areas, this mix provides vibrant summer colour while supporting bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects.

Supplied as 40cc plug plants, it establishes quickly to create instant visual impact in gardens, parks, schools, and community spaces. Ideal for landscape designers, councils, farmers, ecologists, and landowners, it balances walkability, aesthetic appeal, and ecological value in frequently used spaces.

  • Site Preparation: Remove existing lawn or vegetation, rake surface to a fine tilth.
  • Planting Time: Spring or early autumn for optimal growth and establishment.
  • Planting Density: 20–25cm apart to achieve a dense, uniform flowering lawn.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and during dry periods until established.
  • Maintenance: Mow once or twice per year after flowering to maintain height and encourage perennial regrowth without harming flowers.
