Cyclamen Hederifolium Bulbs – JB1026

Cyclamen Hederifolium bulbs with pink to pale purple autumn blooms and marbled ivy-shaped foliage. Ideal for shaded gardens, woodland areas, and borders.

Cyclamen Hederifolium (Hardy or Ivy-leaved Cyclamen) produces delicate pink to pale purple flowers in autumn, when most other blooms are fading. Its distinctive marbled, ivy-shaped foliage provides winter interest, making it ideal for shaded woodland gardens, under trees, and semi-shaded borders.

Supplied as dormant bulbs for autumn planting, Cyclamen Hederifolium naturalises slowly and thrives in well-drained, humus-rich soils, providing years of low-maintenance beauty. Its autumn flowers and persistent foliage add colour and texture to gardens throughout the colder months.

  • Plant dormant Cyclamen Hederifolium bulbs in autumn, typically from late September to November.
  • Plant bulbs at a depth of 5–7 cm, spacing them 10–15 cm apart.
  • Choose a shade to partial shade location, such as woodland areas, under trees, or semi-shaded borders.
  • Plant in humus-rich, well-drained soil; avoid waterlogged areas.
  • Water lightly after planting to help establish roots.
  • Once established, bulbs are low maintenance and naturalise slowly over time.
  • Foliage persists through winter, providing seasonal interest.
  • Fully hardy in UK gardens, no winter protection required.
